The Brief
The Escapism team was tasked with creating a virtual tour of the Gorgeous Geroge property that would allow prospective guests to explore the rooms, amenities, restaurant, and rooftop bar.
To support the static 360 imagery, we identified 2 events to capture as virtual 360 experiences, with supporting, short-form 2D content.
To package all the elements into an immersive showcase, we redesigned website landing pages to drive engagement and conversions.

Virtual Tour Preview
To showcase the location, rooms, restaurant and bar at Gorgeous George, we captured a short 360 preview video to allow prospective guests to get a snapshot of spaces.
This short preview allowed prospective guests to immersively preview the hotel in a few seconds rather than spending minutes searching through the website.
Gigi Rooftop Sunset DJ Mix
To showcase the beauty and atmosphere of the Gigi Rooftop, we captured a sunset DJ mix, giving prospective guests a 360 virtual preview of what a typical Friday night looks like at the hotel.
We captured the ambient sounds and paired it with the on-brand DJ mix to showcase one of Cape Town’s most vibey hospitality experiences.
Landing Page Redesign
To package everything together, we redesigned landing pages on Gorgeous George’s website to include the embedded virtual content and conversion elements.
The results were increased website session time, engagement and direct booking conversions.
